Larger flower shops seem to be dying off over the years as more people are buying online.  But having had most of my online purchases be overpriced and of low quality (smashed, etc.), it’s good to have a real flower shop in the neighborhood.

This shop has a good selection, and is run by friendly, competent people, which really differentiates it from many other shops in the city.

I’ve purchased flowers here many times, and have always been very happy with them.

Our decision to hire Parkway Floral as our wedding florist was one of the best we made in all of our wedding planning. We were grateful to have Carly Johnson help us make design decisions—she listened to our ideas carefully and then applied her expertise and artistry to come up with a truly impressive collection of coordinating flowers for every aspect of our special day. The bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, designed to accent the ladies’ dress color and go with a fall theme, were simply stunning. The corsages and boutonnieres were lovely and the wrist corsages for our nieces were a wonderful touch. Carly was able to build a floral design around the existing centerpieces at our reception venue, which turned out wonderfully. She also helped us improvise on a collection of pew bows we had inherited from a family member; after she switched out the ribbons on them, they looked completely fresh and elegant, better than we could have imagined. All of the flowers looked amazingly pristine, beautiful, and of the highest, picture-perfect quality. Parkway Floral generously gave us ample in-person consultation time, and Carly did a great job at following up on numerous details via email, especially given that we threw in some last-minute changes. For the quality of their work, we thought their prices were reasonable, including the fees for delivery and help pinning the wedding party. We highly recommend them and hope to do business with them again in the future!
